Pictures of some blooms in my balcony today:
Violets and Bright Reds
A few planters I liked at Hypercity, Brookfields. Most are under Rs.100.
Orange Planter - Rs.59
More under Rs.100 planters
Concentric Circles Planters
Even I found Hypercity to be value for money store. For house decor items like cushion covers or rugs or table mats, or for colorful mugs and colorful plates… Got some 2-3 cushions last weekend from there…
Is this purva by any chance.
Your white hibiscus looks awesome. It is a very beautiful flower. Also for a small plant you are having many buds for it. I use suppola for my plants for flowering, any special additive you use? Also I have taken to painting terracotta pots (your earlier posts) so much now that I will try to avoid buying ceramic planters.
Love ur posts..very informative and helpful.
Can u plz tell me what those violet and red flowers r called n wher can i find them…
Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for stopping by. They are called petunias and are commonly found during December in most nurseries.
your blog is so informative can you suggest me any vegetable , spice , herbal plants which grow up in less sun shine / dark shadow
Hi Nitin: Thanks. Just watch out for pests this season..start with anything you like – chillies, tomatoes, curry leaves. But, remember, all of them would need at least some sunshine. And take care not to overwater them.
Any idea where such ceramic pots are available these days around Bangalore?
Hi Archana: haven’t seen them anywhere lately except roadside, but not at this price Earlier these were easily available in Total mall and Hypercity.
