About

About “Dress Your Home”:

Have you ever walked into some one’s home at 7:00 a.m. or 10:00 p.m. and felt everything was where it was meant to be? Well-kept. Organized. Nice smell. A feel-good home. No strewn-around newspapers, clothes lying on the sofa, keys on the table, or rumpled sheets.

This blog is an attempt to create a feel-good home. A home you would long to come back to after work. Rooms that reflect your personality. Organizing ideas even for the smallest of spaces that have room for everything. Choosing the right accessories that will give a spacious feeling.  Ideas to showcase your collectibles. Decorating walls with your child’s craft or your own creations.

My personal philosophy is that a designated place for everything leads to no clutter at home. No clutter leads to an organized way of living. Bright rooms complement that and lead to a happy living.

“Dress Your Home” blog will feature home improvement tips, house tours, DIY projects, and showcase tons of products to dress your home :) Read more on “dress your home”.

    Hi Shani,

I’m afraid I can’t help you much here with authenticity as I do not live in Delhi. Any readers out there from Delhi who can answer Shani’s query?

  7. i live in modest size room 300 to be appropriate. we want to change flooring to white colour. we have a senior citizen at home so do not want slippery tiles material. what do you suggest that meets our requirement and is not very expensive. we stay in mumbai.

    Hi Megha,

You can go in for matt finished vitrified tiles of a larger size like 600 mm * 600 mm. Matt finish tiles are often not slippery while giving a rich look. Just walk in to any branded tile showroom – to find one on a budget, you can pick similar tiles of other players from a non-branded showroom. Hope this helps.
