Stylish, yet cozy? Check.
Warm, yet trendy? Check.
Rustic, yet modern comforts? Check.
Spacious with a compact feeling?Check.
Flooded with light with the warmth of wood? Of course.
Can the style be defined? No.
Flaunts character with a stamp of personality? You bet.
How can such an amalgamation of styles work in a home? You’ve got to see how this home with exposed brick walls does marries various style beautifully transcending from one to the other effortlessly. It’s as easy to entertain in this space as to pull up your legs and sink in that uber-comfortable sofa wrapped in a blanket. If anything, this space has been designed cleverly right from the colors of the walls to the flooring and accessories.
This space is designed by my new favorites in the world of interior design, SP Estudio.
What won my heart in this space, and how you can recreate the look:
- exposed brick walls. If you don’t want to go all the way, use a wallpaper such as this one.
- patterned tiles in the bathroom. If you have a white base, you can paint the tiles, or use decals.
- color blocking in the bedroom. This is a pretty simple DIY project. Buy 1 liter of emulsion in your favorite color, a roller, and get started. Apply a masking tape along the length of the wall at the height you wish to demarcate. You should have a new wall in no time.
