Can you choose a theme for this room above?
Perhaps, NO.
Because, is it modern? Yes.
Rustic? Yes.
Vintage? Yes.
There are beautifully chosen hints that define every theme you can think of in this little corner. Yet, they all complement each other like hand in glove. Another brilliant illustration of the concept is replayed in the corner below weaving another story.
The versatile 3D wall art is the common string tying the two rooms bringing in that element of freshness, that WOW factor. This got me thinking into a wall makeover.
The picture below is a snapshot of my living room. Notice the narrow strip of wall next to the TV. The original design was to have the old-school unplastered lime wash finish. This was a project gone wrong. I’ve been toying with ideas to give that narrow strip a facelift; some of them being a colorful painting, or a distressed wooden frame with vintage pictures, or a stenciled pattern. But, I’ve restrained as any of these options would now overwhelm the drama going on in this space.
When I first chanced upon these 3D wall panels, I loved the idea as it brings in texture and a WOW factor that regular artworks lack. The white panels will blend in as there are several pops of color already in my living room.
Would you believe if I told you what these wall panels are made of?
These eco-friendly 3d wall panels are made out of the fibrous residue of sugarcane. These fibers of crushed sugarcane stalks, remaining after raw sugar is extracted from the juice of the sugarcane by shredding it, is now the raw material, called bagasse, that forms the base of this easily installed eco-friendly product.
The raw material used for the 3d wall panels is 100% recycled, compostable and is therefore 100% biodegradable.
Where can you use them?
Any place you wish to from residential to commercial spaces to cover up an accent wall, entire room, or just pillars. Browse the projects section for more ideas. Their ease of installation is what initially drew me to this project and the fact that they can be painted in a color of one’s choice.
The 3D plant fiber wall panels are eco-friendly and come in a variety of shapes, styles, patterns, textures and colors. The next decision for me is to choose among the available patterns.
Can you install it yourself?
If you are an enthusiastic DIYer, then yes you may follow the instructions and install it yourself with the adhesive. Since the surface area, I intend to cover is small, I plan on doing this project myself.
I’m leaning towards this brick like pattern called Ventura.
Give the distressed, cutwork, and chalkboard themes rest for a while, and be bold enough to try the 3d wall pattern. Oh btw, WallArt is looking for partners to sell their products in India. If you are interested, get in touch here.
